lookin' good, sir. a definite step forward for you. my main concern is the way the colors don't blend well. they look kind of muddy. maybe if you threw in some neutrals here and there and spent a little more time blending the colors together. second problem i see is at the base of the neck. all the detail falls off and it becomes just flat colors. last thing i see that gets to me is the ear. it seems to be a little to high up for. if you moved her hair to the side, it looks like her ear wouldn't end until the top of her temple when it should be ending right about where the eyes line up.

anywho, just a few easy fixes. and all-in-all, i'd say its the best thing you've posted in a while. keep it up and don't lose hope or interest, chief.

Overall, it's great! The nose and lips are the best parts of this pic. I'd put more shadows under her eyes and also behind her nose as the angle seems to call for it. Otherwise, really good! Don't be afraid to add detail.
